The Role

We are looking to recruit a highly capable, motivated, and passionate new Day Shift Operator to join our Grass and Crop Drying team here at Blankney.

The role will involve undertaking operational duties at our main drying facility, which includes, and is not limited to, the use of our computer-based operating system, the understanding and use of different pieces of process equipment, product sampling and testing, telehandler, tractor and trailer driving and general housekeeping of the facility itself.

Working as part of a team within the company's shift-rota system, you will be required to work full-time Monday to Friday, with Saturday and night cover as and when required.

We offer competitive rates of pay which can be discussed in further detail during the application process.

There may be a requirement to cover night shifts from time to time.  A ‘Night Shift Pay Allowance’ would be payable in this instance.

Applicants must hold a full, clean drivers licence and forklift licence.

Staff Benefits

The successful applicant will receive 33 days of annual leave, inclusive of the standard 8 Bank Holidays, will be enrolled onto our Company pension scheme after 3 months and will have access to our Death in Service benefit, paid out at 2.5x annual salary. We also offer Company Sick Pay to staff after they have been in service for 12 months.

Training opportunities will be provided where necessary and depending on experience.
